Loss Adjusters and Claims Validation Companies
In our line of work we regularly get asked about Loss Adjusters and Validation Companies.
Loss Adjusters and Claim Validation Companies are engaged and paid by the insurance company to act on their behalf and to protect their interests. As a claimant they will not present your claim to the insurance company or indeed help you.
The following is a list of the larger loss adjusters:
Cunningham & Lindsey Loss Adjusters
Crawford & Company Loss Adjusters
GAB Robins Loss Adjusters
Davies & Co Loss Adjusters
Woodgate & Clark Loss Adjusters
Loss Adjusters tend to be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and be members of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.
Claim Validation Companies are also paid directly by the insurance company. Their sole role is to validate your claim and to try and settle the claim at the first meeting. This is an unacceptable practice.
Claim Validation companies are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and are therefore acting under the insurance company regulation. If you have any serious concerns regarding any activities of a Validation Company, report it immediately to the CEO of the insurer.
