1. Leak Detection (Trace and Access)

Once contacted our first task is to detect the source of the leak through our trace and access service.

Many leaks originate from pipework that is hidden and difficult to pinpoint, so we use a number of methods to accurately identify the source.  Thereby allowing us to select the most effective remedial action to eliminate the problem.

Sometimes accessing the leak may mean causing further disruption to your home such as removing tiles or flooring. If this is the case we’ll make sure that insurers will cover the cost of restoring this damage before undertaking any investigative work.

2. Comprehensive Report

On completion of our trace and access survey, we prepare a comprehensive report outlining recommended remedial work and costs.

We go through this with you and the insurance Loss Adjuster in order to get the repair work agreed and actioned swiftly.

3. Property Drying

Once remedial work is agreed the first task of our team of BDMA qualified technicians is to dry out your property.

Standing water is pumped out and damaged plaster removed from walls so the brickwork can dry effectively.

We then use specialist drying equipment to ensure your property is dry, mould free and ready for repair.

4. Repairs and Restoration

Only when rooms, walls, flooring and ceilings have passed our tests for dryness, hygiene and air quality do we carry out water damage repair and restoration work using our network of approved builders.

We carry out structural repairs where necessary and make good water damaged walls, plaster, paintwork, floorboards and ceilings.
